Senior Placement Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Manager for our Placements team. The ideal candidate will have 8-10 years of relevant experience, preferably with a strong background from a reputed business school. Expertise in Finance, Business Analytics (BA), or Data Science (DS) is highly desirable.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • On-board corporate partners for student placements and internships.
  • Develop and implement strategies to on-board new corporate partners.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing corporate partners.
  • Negotiate and finalize partnership agreements to secure placement opportunities.
  • Collaborate with academic departments to align placement opportunities with student skills and curriculum.
  • Organize and facilitate regular meetings and communication with corporate partners.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of partnerships to ensure high-quality placements.
  • Address and resolve any issues or concerns that arise during placements.
  • Prepare and present reports on partnership status and outcomes to senior management.
  • Stay updated on industry trends to identify new opportunities for student placements and internships.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Education: MBA or equivalent from a reputed business school, with a specialization in Finance, Business Analytics, or Data Science.
  • Experience: 8-10 years of relevant experience in placements, corporate relations, or a related field.
    • Strong understanding of the placement process and industry requirements.
    • Excellent networking and relationship-building skills.
    • Proven ability to develop and implement successful placement strategies.
    • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Leadership and team management experience.
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
