The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) at KU plays a pivotal role in fostering a culture of quality, ensuring compliance with accreditation frameworks, and driving continuous improvement across academic and administrative processes.

Position: Director - IQAC

Location: Gandhinagar, Gujarat

Key Responsibilities

- Strategic Leadership
- Establish, implement, and monitor quality benchmarks for all academic, administrative, and research activities.
- Lead the preparation, submission, and follow-up of accreditations (NAAC, NBA, UGC, AICTE, NIRF, etc.).
- Drive policies for continuous academic and institutional quality enhancement.
- Academic & Research Quality
- Promote best practices in teaching, learning, research, and student support services.
- Develop and monitor academic audit processes for all schools under the University.
- Encourage research, innovation, and publication aligned with global standards.
- Compliance & Accreditation
- Oversee compliance with national and international accreditation bodies.
- Prepare AQARs, SSRs, and other mandatory reports with accuracy and timeliness.
- Maintain effective documentation and evidence systems for audits and inspections.
- Capacity Building & Training
- Organize faculty development programs, workshops, and training on quality initiatives.
- Build awareness among faculty, staff, and students about quality parameters.
- Stakeholder Engagement
- Collaborate with deans, HODs, and administrative units for quality assurance.
- Act as a liaison with statutory bodies, external agencies, and peer institutions.

Qualifications & Experience

- Ph.D. degree with at least 15 years of academic and administrative experience in higher education.
- Proven track record in quality assurance, accreditation processes, and academic governance.
- In-depth understanding of NAAC, NBA, UGC, and AICTE frameworks.
- Demonstrated leadership ability in policy planning, academic audits, and institutional reforms.
- Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills.

Desirable Attributes

- Experience as IQAC Director/ Assistant Director with quality assurance responsibilities.
- Publications and contributions in the field of quality enhancement in higher education.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive institutional change.

Remuneration

- Commensurate with qualifications, experience, and as per university norms.
