Project Director - Aftersales Warehouse/Logistics Manager

About the Role:

This is a senior management position responsible for implementing and managing Greenfield Aftersales Warehouse/Logistics end-to-end projects.

  • To successfully implement and manage a Greenfield Aftersales Warehouse/Logistics end-to-end project with 12-14 years of expertise and experience.

Main Responsibilities:

The selected candidate will be responsible for identifying competitive logistic partners, building efficient and cost-optimal logistics solutions, planning project phases & milestones, developing IT solutions for logistics operations, and ensuring legal/compliance/approvals.

  • Identify Competitive Logistic Partners: The candidate will liaise with various departments to select vendors, 3PL, and transporters.
  • Build Efficient and Cost-Optimal Logistic Solution: Capacity planning for inventory & operations, define warehouse layout & material handling equipment (MHE) requirements.
  • Plan Project Phases & Milestones: Detail project management schedule, periodic progress updates & review with stakeholders, risk assessment & contingency planning.
  • Develop IT Solution for Logistics Operations: Consolidate system requirements, close collaboration with IS/IT team & developers for requirement readiness as per milestones.
  • Ensure Legal/Compliance/Approvals: Coordinate with Finance, Tax, and consultants, ensure compliance readiness inline with India regulations/framework.

Key Skills and Qualifications: Good negotiation skills, team player, self-motivated, techno-commercial understanding, excellent communication.
