Job Summary

  • We are seeking an experienced programmer to work on iSeries/AS400/RPG programming tasks.

About the Role:

  • You will be responsible for developing and maintaining complex SQL programs for the iSeries/AS400 environment.
  • Create, build, and maintain different libraries in an AS/400 environment.
  • Perform technical support and operations using CL programming skills for automation.
  • Provide technical support during testing, deployment, and post-deployment support.
  • Interact with the client team independently and provide solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and maintaining complex SQL programs.
  • Creating, building, and maintaining different libraries.
  • Performing technical support and operations.
  • Providing technical support during testing, deployment, and post-deployment support.
  • Interacting with the client team.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5-10 years of experience in iSeries/AS400/RPG programming.
  • Strong knowledge of SQLRPGLE, Query/400, and ILE Advanced concepts.
  • Experience with complex SQL concepts, FTP concepts, and Automation.
  • Excellent understanding of Database, DDS, sub files, RPG III or later & RPGLE programming concepts.
  • Excellent understanding of CL & OS/400 commands.
  • In-depth knowledge of SQL/400 and other AS/400 utilities.
  • Hands-on experience working within an enterprise-wide data center environment.
  • Knowledge of Web services, Application Integration, or Modernization areas of AS/400 is an added advantage.
  • iSeries Navigator and Integrated File System (IFS) experience.

Desirable Skills:

  • Web services experience.
  • Application Integration experience.
  • Modernization experience in AS/400.
