As a Portfolio Analysis Team Lead, you will play a pivotal role in our organization. Your primary responsibility will be to conduct rate of return calculations, return attribution, and risk analytics to aid clients in understanding portfolio returns and evaluating our product strategies.


Key Responsibilities:
  • You will provide exceptional client service by understanding client needs and developing relationships across the organization.
  • You will contribute to improving systems and technology by participating in projects, requirement gathering, and testing software and system tools.
  • You will maintain high standards of quality control checks and procedures, participate in developing and previewing controls for key business projects and business changes.
  • You will calculate performance returns and performance attribution across product ranges, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
  • You will oversee a broad spectrum of performance measurement & attribution calculations and create reporting across several regional offices.
  • You will analyze performance and attribution reports, and effectively communicate results to senior management, client portfolio managers, and portfolio managers.
  • You will drive the development and implementation of performance and attribution systems with best industry practices.
  • You will monitor data quality and perform comparisons between computations from different sources (e.g., internal vs external).

Requirements:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or Computer Science (or similar discipline) from an accredited institution is required.
  • Knowledge of portfolio accounting principles, performance, and attribution methodologies is essential.
  • Solid analytical ability to research and analyze complex datasets is necessary.
  • Possession of a CIPM/CFA designation or progress toward it is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in performance measurement, including project experience and knowledge of GIPS is desirable.
  • Understanding of various businesses/products within the Asset Management & Wealth Management space is preferred.
