Job Description

The role of the Sports Officer is to oversee and manage all aspects of sports activities on campus. This includes coordinating events, managing venues, and ensuring the safety of participants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Management: Recruit, hire, train, develop, schedule, and direct coaches and staff as needed.
  • Venue Management: Inspect venues and facilities to ensure that all sports activities are conducted safely.
  • Event Planning: Promote and run projects and sports events in accordance with the Sports Manual.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor students' performance, progress, and prepare university sports teams for participation in authorized sporting events.
  • Evaluation and Reporting: Review and evaluate the performance of coaches and staff, and maintain records and produce written reports.
Requirements
  • A Master's degree in Physical Education or Sports Science.
  • At least 5-7 years of experience in a related field.
