Sr Devops System Architect

We are seeking a seasoned Senior DevOps System Architect to join our Newco program, an exciting initiative focused on enhancing Orange Business operational efficiency and customer experience through the delivery of a greenfield OSS/BSS IT stack.

The position is hosted within the Digital Technology entity, where we focus on implementing innovation and quality in technology solutions.

As part of our team of System Architects, you will be responsible for the system architecture of one of the program ARTs, providing DevOps and E2E testing for the whole Newco program.

You will collaborate with our SI partner to manage design and implementation governance of DevOps, Test and SRE practices for the Newco program, capitalizing on and extending current Digital Technology practices.

  • Collaborate with multiple teams (Platform Engineering, SRE, Quality Assurance, SI Partner) to ensure seamless integration of:
  • Newco stack over Digital Technology Platforms
  • Analyze ART performance and identify areas for improvement to enhance service delivery
  • Share knowledge and best practices within Digital Technology, Orange Business, and the wider Orange Group

In this role, you will have the opportunity to share your expertise in advanced DevOps methodologies and Site Reliability Engineering practices.

You will develop leadership skills by guiding teams through complex projects and gain experience in strategic decision-making.

This is a senior position requiring a minimum of 10 years of experience, including at least 5 years of demonstrated effectiveness as a DevOps/SRE lead.

A degree in IT Engineering is essential, and relevant certifications will be appreciated.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Demonstrated proficiency in SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) as a System Architect
  • DevOps proficiency: CI/CD (Gitlab CI), containerization platform (Kubernetes), IaC (Terraform, Ansible), GitOps experience using FluxCD appreciated
  • Demonstrated practice of SRE: designing and enhancing SLI/SLO, change management and incident responses processes
  • Testing experience for large scale programs: Test automation and Continuous Testing, Shift-Left Testing, Test Data Management Environment Automation
