As a Senior Staff Software Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our platform. Our mission is to create an open financial system that brings the world together.

Our team is responsible for building innovative payment solutions that empower individuals and institutions alike. We are developing cutting-edge technologies to facilitate seamless transactions and drive widespread adoption of cryptocurrency-based products.

The movement of funds stands as the central pillar of our operations, encompassing transactions like purchases, sales, deposits, withdrawals, and trades for both retail and institutional clients. To achieve this vision, we need someone who can architect and develop scalable systems using modern cloud technology and industry best practices.

We're looking for someone with 10+ years of experience in software engineering, preferably with 4+ years of experience in architecting large-scale distributed systems. A strong background in designing, building, scaling, and maintaining production services is essential. You should also be passionate about building an open financial system and have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities include:

  • Architecting and developing scalable systems
  • Designing and implementing service-oriented architecture
  • Writing high-quality, well-tested code
  • Collaborating with engineers, designers, product managers, and senior leadership to turn product and technical vision into tangible roadmaps

Nice to have:

  • Experience with growth experiments or A/B testing frameworks
  • Knowledge of blockchain technology
  • Proficiency in languages like Golang, Java, Rails, Postgres, MongoDB, or DynamoDB
