About the Opportunity

Young people in India are becoming increasingly disconnected from each other. As cities urbanize, people spend more time indoors and online, and less time meaningfully connecting. Even tender human experiences like dating, friendship, and collaboration are happening behind screens.

We want to change that. Our mission is to help young Indians reconnect with each other in real life: through reading books together, debating politics, brainstorming startups, volunteering, running, playing games, or finding genuine community in any way they like.

The format will evolve over time, but our mission remains clear: to help young Indians reconnect with each other meaningfully and offline.

Your Role

As Finance & Operations Co-Founder, you will lead the financial strategy, fundraising, and operational scale-up of our platform. You'll ensure we have the resources, systems, and processes to grow sustainably from Day 1.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage financial models (unit economics, CAC/LTV, marketplace liquidity).
  • Lead fundraising efforts: prepare investor materials, create pitch decks, manage financial modelling and investor relations.
  • Design and implement robust financial systems: accounting, compliance, reporting, unit economics, CAC/LTV analysis.
  • Oversee compliance, accounting, and corporate governance.
  • Design and execute marketplace operations playbook.
  • Balance marketplace liquidity: ensuring enough hosts & events to meet attendee demand.
  • Build trust & safety operations: dispute resolution, refunds, and community guidelines.
  • Forge partnerships with venues, service providers, and student organizations.
  • Develop KPI dashboards: event volume, ticket sales, host retention, repeat attendance.
What We're Looking For:
  • A strong background in finance, consulting, or startup operations.
  • Prior experience in marketplaces or consumer platforms is a big plus.
  • Comfort managing logistics, partnerships, and customer support.
  • A strategic thinker who can also roll up their sleeves in early execution.
