Oracle Database Administrator Team Lead

About the Role

  • Familiarity with Grid Installation and Upgradation, Oracle RAC, Performance Tuning, Dataguard, and Golden gate.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with various teams to resolve performance issues.
  • Develop expertise in Oracle RAC, including complexity across Servers, OS, network, and storage layer.
  • Work on Oracle Engineered systems, such as Exadata, SSC box, and ExaCM.
  • Analyze SQL tuning and refactoring skills to improve performance.
  • Determine performance issues from SQL to Application to Database to System to Storage.
  • Maintain excellent problem-solving skills and infrastructure knowledge.
  • Master HA features of Oracle database.
  • Understand Oracle database's backup recovery options.
  • Work effectively under pressure in production environments.

Qualifications

  • 18+ Years of experience in IT
  • Prior working experience in Telecom or BFSI companies
  • Mandatory Skills - RAC (Installation, Upgradation, and Management), Database backup and recovery, DB Migration and performance tuning
