Lead Data Architect - Financial Systems

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Data Architect to design and implement next-generation financial data architecture using Snowflake, dbt, and modern data engineering practices.

The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with Finance and Accounting stakeholders to transform complex business requirements into robust financial systems that drive insights, compliance, and long-term growth.

  • Design and lead Snowflake solutions for enterprise-grade data warehouse implementations.
  • Own dbt data modeling for financial data transformations, lineage, and governance.
  • Translate complex accounting concepts into technical designs and data flows.
  • Collaborate with Finance and Accounting leaders to understand business drivers, risks, and reporting requirements.
  • Build and optimize robust ETL/ELT pipelines using Snowflake and dbt.
  • Evaluate data accuracy, auditability, and compliance with financial reporting requirements.
  • Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance across teams.

Key Skills: Snowflake, SQL, Data Engineering

Nice to Have Skills: Background in financial technology, familiarity with BI tools like Power BI or Tableau, knowledge of data governance frameworks
