Role Summary

Our organization seeks a seasoned Email Security Implementation Engineer to lead the deployment and configuration of cutting-edge email security solutions. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to join our dynamic cybersecurity team and contribute their expertise in email security or cybersecurity solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deploy and configure Proofpoint solutions to protect clients from emerging threats.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their security needs and design effective configurations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to email flow, phishing, malware, encryption, and policy enforcement.
  • Maintain documentation and support handover materials for clients.
  • Participate in training programs and certifications to enhance Proofpoint expertise.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 4 years of experience with email security or cybersecurity solutions.
  • Prior experience with Mimecast, Cisco Secure Email (IronPort), Microsoft Defender for Office 365, Symantec/Broadcom, Barracuda, Trend Micro, Fortinet, etc.
  • Understanding of email protocols: SMTP, SPF, DKIM, DMARC.
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts.
  • Familiarity with email routing, filtering, and encryption.

Preferred Skills:

  • Exposure to Proofpoint solutions (e.g., admin console, policy configuration, TAP, DLP).
  • Knowledge of cyber threat vectors, phishing techniques, and remediation.
  • Experience working with SIEM or SOAR platforms (e.g., Splunk, QRadar).
