Enterprise Voice and Network Security Specialist

We are seeking a skilled professional to bridge the gap between enterprise voice collaboration systems and network firewall security. This is a unique opportunity for an engineer who can ensure secure, reliable, and high-performing communications.

  • Administer and support unified voice and data communication systems to ensure seamless connectivity.
  • Manage certificate lifecycle management, deploy, renew, and secure certificates to maintain trust and reliability.
  • Monitor system performance using various tools such as WhatsUp Gold, LogicMonitor, or SolarWinds to identify potential issues.
  • Configure and administer firewalls to secure enterprise networks against unauthorized access.
  • Implement policies, VPNs, NAT, and ACLs to maintain compliance with industry standards.
  • Troubleshoot issues across both voice and security domains to maintain uptime and minimize downtime.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of combined experience in Voice/UC engineering and Firewall administration.
  • Strong knowledge of CUCM, Webex, SIP trunks, and voice integration to ensure smooth communication.
  • Expertise in Cisco ASA/FTD and Fortinet FortiGate (Palo Alto is a plus) to provide robust security solutions.
  • Experience managing certificates, PKI, and secure communications to maintain confidentiality.
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools to quickly identify and resolve issues.
  • Relevant certifications are highly preferred to demonstrate expertise.
