Job Title: Network Operations Shift Lead

Job Summary:

NTT DATA is seeking a highly skilled Network Operations Shift Lead to join our team. As a Shift Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of experts who handle network/security support, problem management, and network performance management. You will also be responsible for managing on-going incident queues, ensuring all quality parameters are updated, and driving ticket resolution.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of experts in network/security support, problem management, and network performance management.
  • Manage on-going incident queues and ensure all quality parameters are updated.
  • Drive ticket resolution and work with the team to resolve trouble tickets.
  • Join and manage Sev-1 incident calls.
  • 24*7 Remote Management and Monitoring of Enterprise Networks of Large Global clients.
  • Plan and execute Change Management processes.
  • Perform performance tuning of Network devices and create Service Improvement Plans.
  • Work with Telecommunication Service Providers to resolve escalated circuit problems.
  • Plan and perform firmware upgrades.
  • Work with Hardware/Software Vendors to resolve problems.
  • Train and mentor team members.
  • Interface with customers on calls and lead technical meetings.
  • Create Root Cause analysis (RCA) reports as needed.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 8+ years of progressive, relevant experience in a complex network operations environment.
  • Minimum 2+ years of relevant experience in shift and team handling.
  • Bachelor in Engineering - Computers/Electronics/Communication or related field.
  • Graduate/Post Graduate in Science/Maths/IT or related streams with relevant technology experience.
  • Excellent communication skills - written as well as verbal.
  • Passion to work on core technology platform.
  • ITIL process awareness.
