This role involves working on complex cross technology infrastructure to provide technical support and resolve issues. The successful candidate will be part of a medium to large ICT organization.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing technical support for clients by identifying and resolving technical incidents and problems.
  • Maintaining high service levels by pre-emptively identifying and resolving technical incidents and problems.
  • Working with vendors and/or 3rd parties to resolve issues.
  • Developing and implementing projects within technology domains, delivering effectively and promptly per client agreed upon requirements and timelines.

Requirements:

  • Seasoned experience handling complex cross technology infrastructure.
  • Experience required in Engineering function within a medium to large ICT organization.
  • Knowledge of ITIL processes.
  • Ability to communicate and work across different cultures and social groups.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in IT/Computing (or demonstrated equivalent work experience).
  • Relevant certifications include CCNP, PCNSE, Firewall Vendor related certification, VMware certified Professional: Data Centre Virtualization, Microsoft Certified: Azure Architect Expert, AWS Certified: Solutions Architect Associate, Veeam Certified Engineer (VMCE), Rubrik Certified Systems Administrator, Google Cloud Platform (gcp), Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (oci), SAP Certified Technology Associate - OS DB Migration for SAP NetWeaver 7.4, SAP Technology Consultant, SAP Certified Technology Associate - SAP HANA 2.0, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Architect Professional, IBM Certified System Administrator - WebSphere Application Server Network.
