We are seeking a skilled Lead Technical Operations Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production applications, providing technical support, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform all tests on production applications to ensure they meet quality and performance standards.
- Design and implement production support procedures, policies, and documentation to optimize efficiency and reduce downtime.
- Prepare recovery procedures for all applications and provide upgrades to maintain current functionality.
- Identify and resolve technical issues promptly, escalating serious concerns to senior management.
- Collaborate with IT groups and external vendors to ensure effective production application services and reliability.
- Manage code migration across environments to ensure continued and synchronized functionality.
- Gather information independently, conduct necessary research, and provide in-depth analysis to resolve production issues.
- Supervise alerts related to production application and system procedures, providing proactive services.
- Develop and deliver regular training to teams within the business.
- Capture and share best-practice knowledge amongst the team.
Requirements:
- 5-9 years of experience in a technical operations role, preferably in a production environment.
- Strong understanding of Prime TSYS, PL-SQL, Control-M, Incident handling, Windows server, Linux, and L1 support.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with ability to work under pressure.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with ability to work with cross-functional teams.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
