Job Title: Director of Risk and Governance

">Overview:

The Director of Risk and Governance will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of a comprehensive risk management framework, ensuring timely execution and reporting to stakeholders. This role requires a seasoned professional with 10-15 years of experience in risk management, audit, and governance.

">Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a risk-based audit plan based on management inputs, business priorities, and assessment of the business risk environment.
  • Identify and contract vendors for program activities, leading execution as per plan and reporting to stakeholders.
  • Track and report open audit observations to stakeholders monthly, with follow-up audits to assess management remediation.
  • Maintain audit standards, including templates, protocols, and documentation requirements.
  • Create a repository of audit programs, checklists, templates, and tools for standardization and consistency.
  • Partner with Risk Management and provide input on entity and functional level risks, leveraging outputs for audit planning.
">Educational Qualifications & Experience:
  • Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent qualification.
  • Desirable: CIA, CISA, CWA certifications.
">Key Skills:
  • 10-15 years of experience in implementing, delivering, and embedding risk management at strategic and operational levels.
  • Proven audit experience across diverse areas of the organization.
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to interface and influence all levels of management.
">Knowledge & Specific Skills:
  • Well-equipped with knowledge/skills in corporate governance, internal audit, and risk management domains.
