We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Company Secretary & Compliance Officer.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements, maintaining effective corporate governance practices, and advising the board of directors on corporate governance matters.

This individual will play a crucial role in ensuring the company operates within legal and ethical standards.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Staying abreast of relevant laws, regulations, and guidelines affecting the company's operations
  • Developing, implementing, and monitoring compliance frameworks and procedures
  • Conducting regular compliance audits and assessments to identify and address potential issues

In addition to these key responsibilities, the successful candidate will also be expected to provide guidance to the board of directors on corporate governance best practices, organize and prepare materials for board and committee meetings, and assist in the development and implementation of corporate policies and procedures.

This role requires strong influencing skills, ability to work with senior leaders across functions, and a strong understanding of regulatory compliance, corporate actions for M& A, investor servicing, AR and GM /Postal Ballots handling, policy reviews, and Insider Trading Regulation Compliance & Material Event Awareness.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Certified Company Secretary
  • Minimum 7+ years of post-qualification business partnering experience
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
