Security Validation Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Security Validation Specialist to join our team. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our systems.

Responsibilities:

  1. Test Planning and Execution: Develop and execute test plans based on requirements to ensure the robustness of our systems.
  2. Feature Analysis and Testing: Analyze and understand complex new features through documentation review and collaboration with development teams.
  3. Test Case Design and Implementation: Design, implement, and run test cases including functional, security, fuzz, negative, performance, and stress testing.
  4. Result Analysis and Investigation: Investigate and analyze test results in continuous integration environments.
  5. Collaboration and Debugging: Collaborate closely with the development team to debug issues identified during test cycles and create targeted test plans to ensure system security.
  6. Custom Application Development: Develop custom applications as needed.

Required Skills:

  • Software Development Background: Strong background as a software developer or SDET (Software Developer in Test).
  • Computer Networking Knowledge: Solid understanding of computer networking (IP, Telnet).
  • Cryptographic Operations: Experience with cryptographic operations, algorithms, and common security functionalities.
  • Programming Skills: Proficiency in C, Java, and scripting languages such as Python or Perl.
  • Communication Skills: Good communication skills with fluency in English (spoken and written).

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Task Management and Bug Tracking Tools: Hands-on experience with task management and bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira).
  • Continuous Integration Exposure: Exposure to continuous integration (CI) environments.
  • Team Leadership and Coordination: Prior experience in team leadership and/or coordination.
  • IoT Domain Knowledge: Knowledge of the IoT domain.
