Senior Data Testing Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Senior Data Testing Engineer to join our data engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Python, Pandas, and testing, with a solid understanding of data validation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and execute automated and manual test cases for data validation processes.
  • Validate data integrity across various sources including APIs and databases.
  • Collaborate with data engineers and developers to ensure quality across the pipeline.
  • Develop Python scripts using Pandas for data comparison and profiling.
  • Test data against RESTful APIs for correctness and reliability.
  • Create and maintain test documentation, including test plans and test reports.

Required Skills:

  • Strong proficiency in Python and Pandas for data manipulation and testing.
  • Familiarity with tools like Postman, Pytest, or similar.
  • Experience with data validation and data quality frameworks.
  • Familiarity with MongoDB and NoSQL data models is a plus.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
