Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Legal Counsel to lead our legal operations and provide strategic advisory services. The ideal candidate will have expertise in legal documentation, regulatory compliance, and managing legal risks.

This role involves drafting and negotiating financing documents, facilitating execution, and minimizing contractual risks. The successful candidate will also be responsible for monitoring case laws, statutory updates, and providing timely legal interpretations.

The Legal Counsel will develop and implement best practices to minimize legal exposure, manage legal documentation for corporate lending, and provide insights across the lending lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft and negotiate financing documents and agreements.
  • Facilitate execution of financing documents and manage contractual risks.
  • Monitor case laws, statutory updates, and provide timely legal interpretations.
Required Skills & Qualifications

Experience:

  • At least 15 years of experience in Supply Chain Finance and NBFC guidelines.

Skills:

  • Strong understanding of Corporate Laws and financial statements (Balance Sheet & P&L).
  • Proven collaboration with Business and Credit Teams to optimize legal processes.

Behavioral Competencies:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and time management abilities.
  • Analytical mindset with organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations and multitask effectively.
