Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Modern Trade Sales Manager located in Mumbai. The position involves day-to-day tasks associated with business planning in line with greater strategy for MT expansion.

  • Develop & Execute Business Planning to MT Channels.
  • Implement plans for increasing market share through brand awareness, & advertisements.
  • Map opportunity markets and identify relevant tea category products through data mining
  • Drive short-term and long-term market penetration strategies

The ideal candidate will have experience in Modern Trade Sales, preferably in Tea or Food segments, and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Familiarity with MT platforms and retail chains is also essential.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) include:

  • Manage and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Develop and Manage relationships with Modern Trade clients, vendors, and business partners
  • Negotiating at regional level contracts with new vendors and clients as well as terminating contracts with existing clients or vendors when necessary
  • Establishing & managing relationships with agencies & customers to ensure smooth operations

The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, and have strong analytical skills to analyze market trends and customer data to inform business decisions.
