Job Overview

This role is ideal for a seasoned engineer who can lead teams in the development of new products, solutions and processes.

We are looking for someone with strong leadership skills to drive efficiency and productivity, create designs that improve system components, and oversee project logistics and resource allocation.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of commonly used databases, such as SQL and NoSQL, and be proficient in explaining complex information to non-technical management personnel and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Own delivery of product and project commitments, participate in product roadmap discussions, and provide inputs in design, modelling, and architectural decisions.
  2. Lead teams in the development of new products, solutions, and processes, drive efficiency and productivity to produce high-quality output, and create designs that improve the flexibility, functionality, and usability of system components.
  3. Define NFRs and build a system that meets the NFR requirements, perform design and code reviews, and oversee project logistics and resource allocation.
  4. Use tools and techniques to enhance the quality of code and design with a focus on constant reduction of code debt, suggest the best design and implementation methodology.
  5. Collaborate with other team leaders and departments, build and develop the required competence in the team, mentor team members, and prepare them for possible future roles.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's/master's degree in engineering
  • Around 7-15 yrs of total exp working on delivery/development/team management etc
  • Minimum 4-5 exp in working with EVM, Android related technology
  • Minimum 4-5 exp in working frontend technologies like EMV knowledge, Android POS development experience
  • Minimum 1-3 exp in working in mobile technologies like Android
  • Good understanding in commonly used Databases like SQL, NoSQL

  • Personnel and project management skills
  • Expert-level knowledge of sector technology and processes
  • Organizational, planning, and documentation skills
  • Proficiency to explain complex information to non-technical management personnel and other stakeholders
  • Ability to work on multiple projects in various stages simultaneously
  • Past use of Agile/Scrum or similar collaborative tools a plus
  • Ability to create a set of qualifications for a new product
  • Proficient in stakeholder management and conflict resolutions
  • Experience in fintech space is an advantage
Communication & Ownership
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, with the ability to build relationships with candidates and stakeholders
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple roles and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Adaptability: Comfortable with dynamic requirements and able to pivot recruitment strategies as needed
