Category Management Business Advisor Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Category Management professional to join our team as a key member of our retail data and analytics group. As a critical component of our business, you will be responsible for providing valuable insights and financial forecasting to drive business growth.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Analyze complex information to identify underlying principles, reasons, or facts, breaking down information into actionable parts.
  • Develop and present comprehensive analyses to various departmental groups, including finance, marketing, and real estate.
  • Organize, plan, and prioritize work to achieve specific goals and improve project productivity.
  • Maintain constructive and collaborative working relationships with colleagues across the business.

Key Interactions:

  • Collaborate closely with retail data and analytics team members, including peers and line managers, to share knowledge and best practices.
  • Work closely with Category Managers to provide analytical insights and financial forecasting impact for c-store promotions and offers.
  • Communicate findings and insights to Marketing Leadership and take direction on analysis requirements.
  • Provide financial forecasting and tactics to improve performance as requested by Finance and support budget process as needed.
  • Present business performance insights and identify areas of improvement in collaboration with Planning and Performance teams.
  • Communicate data issues and needs to the Technology team and Data Analytics leadership.
