Job Title: Power BI Developer

Aptimized seeks a skilled Power BI Developer to support enterprise data initiatives. This role combines hands-on data engineering and ETL development with business intelligence and power BI reporting delivery, ensuring timely and accurate insights.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Design, develop, and publish Power BI dashboards, paginated reports, and self-service datasets.
    • Implement data models tailored for reporting.
    • Create reusable DAX measures, Power Query transformations, and semantic layers.
    • Ensure reports and dashboards follow governance, security, and performance best practices.
    • Support business teams with ad-hoc analysis and report automation.
  • Data Engineering & Integration:
    • Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines to load and transform data into data warehouses.
    • Work with onsite data architects and engineers to ensure data quality and consistency.
    • Build optimized SQL queries and views to support reporting needs.
    • Integrate structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data into reporting environments.
  • Collaboration & Delivery:
    • Work closely with onsite leads and data architects to translate requirements into technical solutions.
    • Provide status updates and documentation to ensure alignment with enterprise BI initiatives.
    • Collaborate with global team members to maintain consistent coding standards.
    • Contribute to continuous improvement of reporting workflows.
    Required Skills & Qualifications:
    • 6–9 years of experience in Data Engineering & Business Intelligence.
    • Strong skills in Power BI (DAX, Power Query).
    • Proficiency in SQL Server, T-SQL, SSRS, and SSIS.
    • Knowledge of data modeling principles.
    • Experience working in an offshore delivery model.
    • Good communication and problem-solving skills.
