Solar Energy Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Solar Energy Specialist to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the design, cost optimization, packaging, and execution of innovative rooftop solar systems.

The successful candidate will have hands-on expertise in rooftop solar installations at scale, with a strong background in electrical engineering and experience in EPC projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate work with internal teams for structural, design, and project engineers to deliver end-to-end EPC solutions.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams for design, procurement, manufacturing, and packaging.
  • Assist in the design review for rooftop kits and provide inputs for innovative installation methodologies.
  • Help identify and onboard additional electrical engineers to strengthen the EPC execution team.
  • Contribute to the development of click system and tool-less installation methods for rooftop kits.
  • Compile and analyze installer feedback for product improvement using manual and AI tools.
  • Prepare detailed cost breakdowns for 3 KWP rooftop systems and support discussions with suppliers and manufacturers for cost-effective and innovative solutions.
  • Develop innovative packaging methodologies inspired by IKEA-style kits.
  • Ensure packaging is installer-friendly with QR code tutorials, sequenced unpacking, reusable branded accessory boxes, and dual-use packaging templates.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Master's preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in rooftop solar EPC, preferably with 3-10 kWp systems.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical design, installation, and commissioning of solar rooftop projects.
  • Familiarity with solar structures, mounting systems, and innovative installation methodologies.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
  • Strong problem-solving and project management skills.
