Job Title: Fashion Merchandiser

This role is pivotal in driving the development of our buying and merchandising strategy, ensuring alignment with our overall business objectives.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • To oversee all aspects of merchandise buying and coordinate effectively with vendors for assigned departments.
  • Conduct thorough market research to identify potential future product offerings that cater to customer needs and emerging trends.
  • Collaborate with the marketing department to devise pricing strategies for various product lines, focusing on maximizing revenue.
  • Optimize current sourcing channels and explore new opportunities to enhance our supply base.
  • Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best costs and margins, while supporting cross-functional teams to drive business growth.
  • Work closely with designers to develop styles and inform best-selling items for future collections.
  • Stay abreast of competitor activity through market research, tracking trends, forecasting, and color/fabric analysis.
  • Develop product presentation, packaging, and promotional plans to elevate brand visibility.
  • Identify and nurture vendor relationships to drive long-term success.
  • Collaborate with marketing and design to create visually appealing Visual Merchandising promotions aligned with seasonal themes and product launches.
  • Ensure timely delivery of samples from vendors, meeting critical deadlines.
  • Establish quality standards for merchandise in conjunction with QA, guaranteeing excellence in every aspect.
