The Apparel Buyer is a dynamic role that requires strategic thinking and strong analytical skills. This position involves developing a product assortment strategy that aligns with the brand identity and drives sales growth.

The buyer will be responsible for trend forecasting, vendor management, pricing strategy, and sales analysis. They will work closely with cross-functional teams to meet business requirements and ensure customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assortment Planning: Create a product mix that reflects current trends and customer preferences across all sales channels.
  • Buying Decisions: Make data-driven purchasing choices, negotiate with suppliers, and maintain strong vendor relationships.
  • Pricing Strategy: Develop competitive pricing models in line with market trends and company financial goals.
  • Sales Analysis: Regularly review sales data, adjust strategies, and report findings to senior management.
  • Trend Forecasting: Collaborate with design teams to stay ahead of fashion trends and identify new product opportunities.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with marketing, and other teams to ensure seamless product launches and availability.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of apparel buying experience in retail.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and trend forecasting skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel and buying/planning software.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
