Desktop Support Specialist Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Desktop Support Specialist to manage desktop administration and network support for our high-demand emergency helpline environment.

  • Job Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related issues
  • Conduct remote desktop support and application customization
  • Maintain system performance through monitoring and timely updates
  • Administer servers and ensure documentation is up-to-date
  • Manage inventory of hardware/software assets
  • Record technical resolutions and provide performance reports

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years in desktop support or related role
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
  • Familiar with voice-logging systems and remote support tools
  • Diploma/BE/B.Tech in ECE/CS/IT/EEE
  • Fluency in English and Tamil
  • Willingness to work in 24x7 shift operations

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with server administration and management
  • Knowledge of inventory management and asset tracking
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
