Job Summary:

The Procurement Operations Manager is a key role within the organization, responsible for overseeing day-to-day procurement operations processes. These include PR to PO conversion, fixed asset creation and capitalization, supplier re-certification, contract drafting, and system updates.

This position contributes significantly to key performance metrics of the team, such as Service Level Agreement (SLA), quality, and efficiency. The successful candidate will collaborate with various teams, including category managers, accounts payable, vendor risk management, corporate ethics, and compliance.

Responsibilities include redlining legal clauses, handling customer issues during contract execution, documenting processes, building and maintaining desktop procedures, analyzing data, and acting within buyer activities.

The ideal candidate will also build and publish weekly/monthly reports, handle customer relationships effectively, resolve user queries on time, conduct periodic reviews, and carry out special projects for continuous improvement.

This role requires a strong understanding of procurement processes, exposure to Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) tools like Ariba/Coupa, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems like SAP/Oracle, and experience in contract drafting. Excellent communication skills, analytical capabilities, and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this position.

Requirements:
  • 5-7 years of validated experience in procurement operations

A bachelor's degree in any subject area is required; a master's degree is desirable. Proficiency in English and intermediate to advanced Excel skills are necessary.
