Job Description

We are seeking a senior leader to join our Assurance team. The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency in English, both written and oral, and expert-level knowledge of Assurance and accounting standards.

The successful candidate will have excellent report writing skills, experience working on large complex engagements, multiple reporting environments, and listed public interest entities and large entities. They will also possess knowledge and experience in ensuring excellent quality Assurance documentation, work papers, etc.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead teams and Assurance engagements end to end.
  • Handle areas and work allocated, including testing and relevant Assurance procedures.
  • Prepare and review Assurance work papers and ensure compliance with firm policies and procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Act as a SPOC for the team with the client, manage and supervise team members, including article staff.
  • Coordinate with internal and external teams, including client personnel, for information/data.
  • Support the team on standardization of processes, documentation, analysis of technical issues, and research solutions.
  • Participate in meetings with various teams and contribute to areas and responsibilities handled.
  • Ensure timely delivery as per defined timelines.
  • Ensure compliance with engagement plans, internal quality & risk management procedures.
  • Ownership and accountability of delivering all aspects of the Assurance engagement, from start to finish.
  • Responsible for front-end and managing internal and external quality review process for respective engagements and deliverables.
  • Collaborate with teams, including experts and specialists, involved in supporting delivery of Assurance engagements.
  • Responsible for operational matters, including billing, collections, efficiency, and optimal utilization of efforts and resources, monitoring engagement budgets, etc.
  • Proactively take up full responsibility of engagement deliverables.
  • Support the Engagement Partner in managing communications, preparing and reviewing deliverables, discussions with stakeholders, including boards, Assurance committees, etc.
  • Coach and manage team members, including facilitating on-the-job training.
  • Participate and undertake trainings and training programs, both technical and non-technical topics.
  • Contribute to firm and practice-related matters for the location and national initiatives.
  • Participate and contribute towards business development initiatives, including pursuits and opportunities.
