Sourcing & Procurement Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Sourcing & Procurement Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement, with experience in managing purchase orders and supplier information.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Procurement Process Management: Oversee the end-to-end procurement process, including creation of purchase requisitions, RFx process, and transformation/automation projects.
  • Team Leadership: Manage a team of procurement professionals, including stakeholders, escalation management, and performance review management.
  • Communication: Develop and maintain strong relationships with senior management, clients, and suppliers through effective communication and presentation skills.
  • Project Management: Coordinate multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and successful outcomes.
  • Risk Analysis: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation plans to minimize their impact on the business.

Required Skills:

  • Procurement Tools: Proficient in using IT tools for supply chain planning, including Purchasing, Sourcing, and Supplier Management.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of supply chain principles and practices, particularly in the Oil & Gas or Energy Services industry.
  • Business Intelligence: Experienced in creating and interpreting Purchase Dashboards to inform business decisions.
  • Analytics: Skilled in analyzing data to identify trends, optimize processes, and improve overall performance.
  • Purchasing Experience: Proven track record in purchasing goods and services, with a focus on cost savings and supplier relationships.
