Procurement Specialist Job Description

As a Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for sourcing the right quality at the right cost. This involves identifying alternative products in the market, conducting cost-benefit analysis and presenting to management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Source high-quality materials at competitive prices.
  • Ensure timely delivery of materials to sites.
  • Optimize inventory by managing lot size and reducing delivery lead time.
Major Accountabilities:
  • Identify new products in the market and present to management after conducting thorough market research.
  • Handle end-to-end procurement of assigned materials and ensure timely delivery and payment to suppliers.
  • Build relationships with vendors by analyzing their performance from the market and collaborating on joint improvement projects.
  • Facilitate effective coordination with all sites through regular site visits and strong networking within and outside the organization.
Candidate Requirements:
  • Expertise in construction materials.
  • Experience in High-rise buildings is desirable.
  • Strong negotiation and presentation skills for effective coordination with all sites.
  • A research-oriented role that requires analytical skills.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in procurement.
  • Strong understanding of property market dynamics, valuation, and laws.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
