The Role: Workday Finance Expert

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for configuring Workday systems, guiding new employees, collaborating with clients, and working closely with colleagues to design and test systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop business solutions that meet customer needs and deliver exceptional results.
  • Effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders, adapting your approach to suit their needs.
  • Obtain product certification to provide expert guidance to client financial teams.
  • Apply your knowledge to develop solution designs that help customers achieve their goals.
  • Collaborate with global teams, offering support and seeking help when needed.
  • Deliver projects within defined scopes, identify risks, plan workloads, and communicate regularly with project managers.
  • Review peers' deliverables, offer assistance, and execute unit test cases to verify changes.
  • Debug and resolve issues during testing, ensuring accurate documentation for the benefit of customers.
  • Adhere to project processes as defined by project managers, helping clients build skills to manage their own solutions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent; Master's degree in related areas is advantageous.
  • Certification in the Workday platform is preferred.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills are required.
  • Be adaptable and flexible, willing to work extended hours to meet deadlines.
  • Have the ability to learn and work on new domains as required by the business.
  • Understand the software development lifecycle.

Work Experience:

  • 2+ years of relevant work experience is required.
  • Certification in Workday Fin is preferred; certification in other modules is an added advantage.
  • Working knowledge of Workday is preferred.
