Strategic Financial Leadership Role

This leadership position oversees the company's financial strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals. The role involves managing financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis to support informed decision-making.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Develop and execute the company's financial strategy in accordance with business objectives.
  • Manage financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Direct treasury operations and cash flow management to optimize financial performance.
  • Lead risk management initiatives to identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and liaise with auditors, tax authorities, and relevant bodies.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership and board members to provide insights and recommendations on financial matters.
  • Drive process improvements to enhance financial controls, efficiency, and automation.
  • Manage a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous development.
  • Support strategic growth initiatives, including mergers, acquisitions, fundraising, and investor relations activities as needed.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Chartered Accountant (CA), CPA, MBA in Finance, or equivalent qualification preferred.
  • Minimum 7+ years of progressive leadership experience in finance, preferably at the senior management or executive level.
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting standards, and corporate finance principles.
  • Proven experience in strategic financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Expertise in risk management, compliance, and corporate governance.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Experience in the industry relevant to the company is an added advantage.
