Financial Operations Specialist

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of experience and 4 years in finance controllership/tax function, with expertise in financial models, AOP, and complex business scenario modeling.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Performance Management:
    • Develop and implement financial plans, budgets, and forecasts to drive business growth.
    • Validate financial targets and establish budgetary controls.
  • Controllership Functions:
    • Manage accounting, tax, and compliance functions for India and US entities.
    • Lead month-end close process and annual audits.
  • Treasury and Banking Relationship Management:
    • Oversee treasury and payment gateway relationships.
    • Manage banking relationships and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Business Finance and Taxation:
    • Provide expert guidance on financial planning, financial management, budgeting, forecasting, compliance, business growth strategy, and maturity to influence key stakeholders.
    • Ensure familiarity with US and India taxes, compliance, and filings (1099, Use, and Sales tax).
  • Secretarial and Legal Contracts:
    • Collaborate with external service providers for contract management.
    • Maintain basic familiarity with legal timelines and laws.
    Requirements:
    • Chartered Accountant with 6+ years of experience and 4 years in finance controllership/tax function.
    • Strong Excel modeling skills required.
    • Hands-on expertise in ERP Systems, process implementation, and technical accounting standards (GAAP/ IFRS).
    • Clear understanding of financial planning, financial management, budgeting, forecasting, compliance, business growth strategy, and maturity to influence key stakeholders.
    • Excellent communication skills and ability to express complex ideas concisely.
