The Plant Quality Lead will oversee all quality assurance and control processes at our manufacturing facility for LV electrical panels.
- Develop, implement, and maintain a Quality Management System to ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and other relevant standards.
- Monitor and control quality processes across all stages of production, from raw material inspection to final product testing.
- Lead a team of quality engineers, inspectors, and technicians to achieve quality objectives.
- Ensure adherence to industry standards and customer-specific requirements for LV electrical panels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee testing procedures, including dielectric tests, temperature rise tests, and short-circuit withstand tests, to ensure product reliability and safety.
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure incoming materials meet quality specifications and conduct supplier audits as needed.
- Act as the primary point of contact for quality-related customer queries, complaints, and audits.
- Maintain accurate quality records, prepare reports, and present quality performance metrics to senior management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree or certifications in Quality Management is a plus.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in quality management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the LV electrical panel or similar electrical manufacturing industry.
- Strong understanding of LV electrical panel design, manufacturing processes, and testing standards.
- Expertise in Quality Management System, Lean, Six Sigma, and statistical process control.
