Procurement Manager Position

The primary objective of this role is to oversee the procurement process, ensuring that materials and equipment are acquired at competitive prices while meeting quality standards and delivery timelines.

This involves managing the procurement requirements from various departments, issuing RFP/RFQs, inviting supplier bids, and conducting evaluations. The goal is to identify the best suppliers and negotiate agreements that align with company goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Issuing RFP/RFQs & Supplier Bid Management
  • Bid Evaluation & Negotiation
  • Internal Approvals & Compliance
  • Contract Agreement Preparation
  • Vendor Coordination & Follow-ups
Interactions:
  • Contractors / Suppliers: Regular interaction for bid invitations, term discussions, and contract compliance checks.
  • User Departments: Collaboration to understand requirements before and after receiving formal PRs to ensure accurate needs met.
  • Stores Department: Material coordination and stock management alignment with procurement needs.
  • Finance & Accounts: Commercial negotiations, tax code generation, PO release, and payment-related issue resolution.
Requirements:
  • Graduate or Post-graduate degree in any specialization.
  • 10+ years of experience with at least 5-6 years in procurement functions, handling procurement processes, negotiations, and vendor management.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • File and documentation management expertise.
  • Proficient in OPEX (Operational Expenditure), SAP, and procurement processes (PR, PO).
