Senior PHP Developer Role

We are a leading global SAAS provider of contingent workforce VMS solutions, ranked by various industry analysts as a leading platform.

Our sophisticated multi-tenant SAAS HR Tech product is built on a complex microservices architecture. We're seeking highly talented and experienced Senior PHP Developers with Laravel or YII framework experience to join our team and lead the evolution of our application into a modern, scalable, and AI-first SaaS platform.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and deploy services using Laravel/YII and related technologies.
  • Create well-defined APIs for communication between microservices and integrate third-party services and APIs as needed.
  • Optimize the platform for scalability, high availability, and performance by implementing caching, load balancing, and other techniques.
  • Design and implement relevant multi-tenancy features, allowing multiple customers to use the platform securely and efficiently.
  • Ensure data security, privacy, and compliance with industry standards (e.g., GDPR) by implementing authentication, authorization, and encryption mechanisms.
  • FOLLOW THE CODING STANDARDS, REVIEW CODE, AND MENTOR JUNIOR DEVELOPERS TO MAINTAIN A HIGH-QUALITY CODEBASE.
  • CREATE TECHNICAL DOCUMENTATION FOR ARCHITECTURE, APIs, AND DEPLOYMENT PROCESSES.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 6-10 years of hands-on experience with PHP and Laravel or YII framework.
  • Proven experience designing and implementing services architecture.
  • Previous work on transitioning monolithic applications to SaaS platforms.
  • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and other communication protocols.
  • Proficiency in database design, including multi-tenancy considerations.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Knowledge of security best practices and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Desirable Skills:
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment pipelines.
  • Understanding of frontend frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js).
