Job Title: Backend Software Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced software engineer to join our team as a backend developer. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining high-performance backend services using Rust.

Responsibilities:

  • System Architecture & Development: Design and implement scalable and reliable backend systems in Rust.
  • Integration & APIs: Build and maintain APIs and data pipelines that interface with internal services and external partners.
  • Security & Reliability: Ensure secure coding practices, conduct code reviews, and implement testing strategies to prevent vulnerabilities and maintain system integrity.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, data scientists, and operations teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Skillset:

  • Rust Expertise: Strong proficiency in Rust programming and its ecosystem, including crates, testing frameworks, and tooling.
  • Backend & Distributed Systems: Understanding of distributed systems architecture, microservices, and event-driven patterns.
  • Performance & Concurrency: Proven experience profiling applications, optimizing performance-critical code paths, and handling concurrency safely and efficiently.
  • Version Control & CI/CD: Familiarity with Git-based workflows, continuous integration, and automated testing pipelines.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of software development experience, with at least 1–2 years of hands-on experience coding in Rust.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
