Key Responsibilities
  • Client Engagement
    • Develop a deep understanding of client goals and challenges through thorough research.
    • Create actionable plans based on client workspace requirements.
    • Maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and exceptional service.
  • Conceptual Design
    • Formulate innovative design proposals incorporating space planning, color schemes, furniture selection, and sustainable materials.
    • Craft compelling mood boards, 3D renderings, and articulate presentations to communicate design concepts.
  • Space Planning and Layout
    • Devise efficient space plans accounting for workflow optimization, ergonomic principles, and client cultural ethos.
    • Leverage space utilization strategies to enhance productivity and foster a cohesive work culture.
  • Material Selection and Specification
    • Select materials, finishes, and furnishings aligning with envisioned aesthetic while meeting functional criteria.
    • Ensure adherence to safety and sustainability standards, integrating eco-conscious choices.
  • Budget Management
    • Create project budgets and timelines, delivering cost-effective design solutions.
    • Source and procure materials within established parameters.
  • Project Documentation
    • Prepare detailed design drawings, specifications, and documentation for construction purposes.
  • Team Leadership
    • Build and nurture a high-performing team.
    • Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and professional development.
  • Quality Control
    • Conduct site visits and assessments to gather essential information about existing spaces.
    • Ensure the design is implemented as planned and meets quality standards.
    Requirements
    • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in architecture / interior design or a related field.
    • Experience in leading client pitches.
    • A minimum of 7-12 years of experience working on workplace design projects & managing a team.
    • Proficiency in design software such as Sketchup, Revit, and Photoshop.
    • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Project management experience is a plus.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
