Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Mergers and Acquisitions Taxation Manager.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing advisory engagements for multinational corporations involving mergers, demergers, business acquisitions, investment structuring, and joint ventures.

  • You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure strategic execution, regulatory compliance, and optimal tax efficiency.
  • Key responsibilities include ideating tax structuring options for multinational clients, evaluating India inbound structuring options, and managing end-to-end regulatory compliance processes for acquisitions.
  • Additionally, you will plan tax due diligence work, advise clients on negotiating transaction terms, and devise practical approaches to resolving tax issues in structuring assignments.
Client Relationship Management
  • Proactively communicate with clients, respond to their queries, and update them in a timely manner.
  • Establish strong relationships with CFOs and Tax Directors to create a high-quality professional network.
  • Identify and develop leads from public and private sources, constantly evaluating feasibility and potential opportunities.
Financial Planning & Compliance
  • Monitor entire invoicing process, including diligent follow-ups for outstanding payments and payment statuses.
  • Establish and uphold data controls for research papers, perform regular hygiene checks to ensure accuracy, and prepare service summaries.
  • Review important client communications, assist in updating MIS on a regular basis, and scrutinize notice/orders.
Knowledge Sharing
  • Understand the tax compliance landscape, ideate how technology can be used internally and externally to enhance compliance, and acquire industry insights to improvise current services.
  • Develop content for networking in external events and seminars, share knowledge acquired from external forums with team members, and regularly update the knowledge management database with new updates.
Career Development
  • Provide guidance to the team to enable them to deliver on assignments, identify and point out challenges, and support team members to resolve conflicts.
  • Connect with team members regularly to ensure assignment closure within agreed timelines, create a learning environment, and encourage people to leverage each other's strengths.
