Accounts Payable Specialist Role

The Accounts Payable team at our organization plays a critical role in ensuring timely and accurate payment of invoices to our vendors.

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounts payable processing, including experience with computerized accounting systems.

  • Process vendor invoices in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Verify and reconcile vendor statements, resolving any discrepancies or issues that may arise.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth payment processing and minimize delays.
  • Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external customers, responding promptly to inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in commerce or business administration.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in accounts payable processing.
  • Excellent English communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and mathematical abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong team and collaboration bias.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to changing processes and technologies.
