Job Role:

The Staff Accountant position plays a pivotal role in our accounting team, facilitating bank, merchant, and credit card reconciliations, alongside other key financial tasks. This role is responsible for generating timely and accurate monthly statements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Completing monthly bank reconciliations
  • Completing monthly credit card reconciliations
  • Reconciling and posting merchant fee statements
  • Reconciling third-party payment processor statements
  • Filing and recording documents and receipts
  • Performing other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) or Semi-Qualified Chartered Accountant qualification
  • Associate Degree in Accounting or Business Field (preferable)
  • High school diploma or equivalent certification

Essential Skills:

  • Deep understanding of fundamental accounting principles
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Experience with QuickBooks advantageous

Working Conditions:

  • This role operates remotely, aligning to USA working hours
