SAP WM Consultant Job Role

Our organization is looking for an experienced SAP WM developer with a strong background in ABAP programming and expertise in warehouse management processes.

  • We require the candidate to design, develop, and implement custom SAP WM solutions using ABAP.
  • The ideal candidate should be able to translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications.
  • Responsibilities include developing RICEFW objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, Workflows) for WM processes.
  • Additionally, the candidate will enhance and support SAP WM configurations and custom developments.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to WM transactions and warehouse operations are also essential duties.
  • The selected candidate must ensure smooth integration with MM, SD, and LE modules.
  • System upgrades, migrations, and performance tuning will also be part of the job responsibilities.
  • Preparation of technical documentation, test plans, and end-user guides is required.

Key qualifications for this position include a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, 8–10 years of SAP WM development and support experience, strong ABAP programming skills, and expertise in WM processes such as putaway, picking, transfer orders, stock movements, and inventory management.

Preferred qualifications include SAP certification in WM or Logistics Execution, experience with SAP S/4HANA and embedded EWM, exposure to Fiori/UI5 and OData services, and familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
