Job Title: Landscape Architect

\Key Responsibilities:\

  • Develop comprehensive landscape designs for residential and commercial projects, incorporating innovative ideas and sustainable practices.\
  • Create detailed plans, including master plans, layout plans, planting schemes, hardscape designs, and other design drawings, while ensuring compliance with local regulations and project guidelines.\
  • Collaborate effectively with architects, urban planners, civil engineers, and environmental consultants to achieve integrated project design and coordinate with in-house teams and external consultants.\
  • Oversee the implementation of landscape designs at project sites, coordinating with contractors and vendors to ensure timely completion within budget.\
  • Review and validate BOQs, cost estimates, and construction drawings to ensure accuracy and completeness.\
  • Conduct thorough site assessments, soil analysis, and feasibility studies to inform design decisions and support project success.\
  • Prepare high-quality presentations, mood boards, and design documentation for internal approvals and client presentations, showcasing expertise and creativity.\
  • Represent the landscape design team as an expert in meetings with architects, structural engineers, interior designers, MEP/Infra Consultants, and other stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.\
  • Deliver exceptional project work within agreed deadlines and budgets, meeting business objectives and stakeholder expectations.\
  • Maintain open communication with senior staff regarding important design decisions, keeping them informed and aligned with project goals.\
  • Verify and validate specifications and quantity computations in BOQs to release for landscape works, participate in pre-bid meetings during tendering, and resolve queries and visit nurseries/civil materials selections/approvals.\
  • Review shop drawings, builders drawings etc. in coordination with the site team and respective consultants.\
  • Assist liaison teams for any statutory-related queries.\
  • Be well-versed with Environmental/MoEF and local statutory, NBC norms, support water calculations and other supporting data associated with related services.\
  • Perform periodic site visits on project sites as required to ensure landscape design intents as per GFC drawings.\
  • Finalize specific material requirements to proceed for procurement.\
  • Review material submittals from vendors.\
  • Reply to RFI and resolve site queries.\
  • Manage change: Design/methodology changes must be absorbed with minimal possible cost impacts and time impacts.\
  • Appoint consultants and evaluate their capabilities, scopes, etc., and assist in onboarding the same with clear scope.\
  • Detailed engineering reviews for achieving due diligence as well as cost parameters.\
  • Coordinate with other specialized technical consultants as per project requirements.\
  • Review various landscape design options, site-related concerns, and address/resolve the same with the help of consultants.\
  • Cross-functional team coordination for resolving various points with Strategy, Costing, Projects, Marketing, Contracting, Procurement, Liaison, etc.\
  • Communicate with Facility/Customer Relationship Management (CRM) teams to solve service issues raised by customers.
