Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Materials Planner to join our India Pressure Management Business unit. As a key member of the team, you will play a vital role in ensuring timely delivery of materials, thereby avoiding factory operation delays or line stoppages. This position is crucial in driving growth platforms and supporting operational pillars while striving for long-term value creation.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Developing and implementing quarterly, monthly, weekly, and daily production plans to meet business objectives.
  • Preparing reports necessary for business process alignment with other departments.
  • Releasing planned orders to Production Request (PR) for efficient material allocation.
  • Reviewing scheduled sales orders and providing promise dates by analyzing Available-to-Promise (ATP) output.
  • Coordinating and verifying production routings, preparing work orders based on Bill of Materials (BOM).
  • Monitoring shortages for work orders and expediting the purchase team for timely material procurement.
  • Releasing work orders to the shop floor as per schedule to ensure seamless production flow.
  • Expediting Warehouse for issuing Work Orders, Shop Floor, and QC/QA for timely delivery of products to customers, guaranteeing on-time delivery of valves.
  • Reviewing planning when sales order specs, drawings, and BOMs are revised, which may result in addition/modification of materials in Work Orders and Shop Planning.
  • Maintaining a comprehensive planning file for sales orders from entry to last valve delivery.
  • Arranging subcontract workorders for items requiring Powder Coating, Painting, Machining, and Fabrication services.

    About You:

    You are an analytical problem-solver who can adapt quickly to evolving situations. You excel in communication and interpersonal skills, tailoring your approach to meet diverse partner needs. Your ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects ensures timely completion. You analyze various sources of information to identify problems accurately before proposing solutions. You demonstrate situational awareness and adjust your approach accordingly.

    Requirements:

    • Engineering degree with relevant planning and scheduling experience, totaling at least [10-15 years] years of experience.
    • High level of integrity and trustworthiness.
    • Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
    • Strong communication, negotiation, and people management skills.
    • Basic finance and costing knowledge is preferred.
    • Familiarity with ISO Management System and Corporate Safety Management/Occupational Health Management requirements is desirable.
    • A self-driven and self-motivated leader.
