Senior Analyst Job

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to fill the position of Senior Analyst. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for analyzing complex problems and developing innovative solutions through data-driven insights.

  • Apply statistical methods and machine learning algorithms to large data sets for deriving insights/predictions using Python/R packages.
  • Utilize data science related packages like scikit-learn and data manipulation packages like pandas, dask.
  • Model techniques including classifications, regression time series analysis, deep learning, text mining, and NLP.
  • Analyze problem statements and develop creative solutions through proof of concept.
  • Collect relevant data as per the problem statement and cleanse it.
  • Possess basic knowledge of writing SQL queries.
  • Familiarity with big data concepts such as Hadoop and Hive.
  • Experience in ML programming and analytical skills.

This role requires an expert in Data Science with hands-on experience in applying statistical methods, machine learning algorithms, and modeling techniques. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing complex problems and developing innovative solutions through data-driven insights.

In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement advanced data analytics and machine learning models. You will be responsible for collecting and cleansing data, building predictive models, and deploying them in production environments. Additionally, you will collaborate with stakeholders to identify business needs and develop data-driven solutions that drive business value.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Data Science with a focus on machine learning and statistical modeling.
  • Hands-on experience with Python, R, and popular data science libraries such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, and PyTorch.
  • Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
