Senior Commercial Contract Specialist

Job Overview
This role involves drafting, reviewing and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts and related documents.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in IT and e-commerce related agreements, market data and subscription agreements, terms and conditions for sale and purchase of goods and/or services, service agreements and maintenance contracts.
- Liaising with stakeholders to obtain approval on risks/deviations and responding to queries related to agreements/corporate legal matters.
- Identifying and highlighting risks and obtaining stakeholder approval.
- Providing commercially savvy legal advice based on in-depth research and study of applicable law provisions.
- Staying abreast with changing laws and regulations.
- Providing management reports.
- Advising on business-related queries.
- Liaising with stakeholders, regional lawyers and business partners in various locations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
A qualified Law graduate with at least an LLB degree is required.
5-8 years of demonstrated experience in commercial contracts is necessary.
Excellent communication, drafting and negotiation skills are essential.
A good understanding of Indian laws relating to employment, real estate, data privacy matters and related compliances is required.
Excellent analytical and legal skills with attention to detail are essential.
Good team player skills are required.
