Accounts Receivables Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Team Member to join our team as an Accounts Receivable professional. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting with day-to-day calls/queries relating to billing processes, resolving inquiries/queries related to Billing, and adhering to the policy guidelines for billing.

  • A solid understanding of billing and invoicing concepts is required.
  • You should be conversant with various online tools and systems.
Responsibilities
  • Day-to-day calls/queries relating to billing processes require your assistance.
  • You will report on activities and progress to seniors on a daily basis.
  • Resolving inquiries/queries related to Billing is another critical aspect of this role.
  • You must adhere to the policy guidelines for billing at all times.
  • Follow up with field location teams for necessary supporting documents required for billing is also part of this job.
  • Outstanding payments from customers need to be recovered in a timely manner.
  • You will contact debtors, negotiate payment plans, resolve disputes, and ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Customer concerns related to billing, payments, or account discrepancies need to be investigated and addressed promptly.
  • You will download Bank statements for all accounts regularly.
  • Remittances and correspondences received need to be provided to collectors on the same day.
  • This role involves performing standard tasks of Customer Invoicing Processing functions regularly.
  • Cash application needs to follow defined process without exceptions.
  • All remittances for Cash/Wire/Cheque payments received need to be collated and applied to the correct invoice using Remittance Advice from customers or related collectors.
  • You will reconcile orders to match customer books, validating credits or debits, and sending them to customer for collection or refund.
  • Daily details of un-applied and unidentified cash need to be provided to all collectors, followed up proactively to get details of applications.
